I use my journal as a place to rant, bitch, talk about my day, post surveys/memes, pass along interesting or information that I think is important...basically, to do what I want with it, which is what any journal should be. I can't guarantee that everything I post about is going to be interesting, because hell, my life has a tendency to be pretty boring. However, if you're not looking for a thrill ride and just want to get to know me, feel free to add me! However, be warned, I may not comment on every single one of your entries, so if you're anal about that, I'm probably not for you.

I am currently nineteen years old, living in a "cozy" military town in south-eastern Ontario. My second home is at Brock University in St. Catharines, where I am enrolled in Child and Youth Studies/Concurrent Education. I discovered my love for working with children in grade six, when I had a "book buddy". The buddy I had couldn't write his own name yet, and I was encouraged to teach him how. After that, my fondness for working with and being around children has only grown, and I cannot wait to be a teacher.

I haven't had much spare time, and I'll have even less in the coming school year, but when I do, I spend a great deal of it on the computer. I love being able to talk to people, regardless of where they might be located in the world. I also love playing video games. James (my significant other) and I often play together, which some might see as nerdy, but we both enjoy it.

Speaking of James (fallen_angel_j), he and I have been dating since October 11, 2001. Like all couples, we have our share of problems, but I love him more and more with every day. Sharing life with him is a blast, and I couldn't ask for anything more.
